This Remington manufactured early variation forend hanger is for the early pre-grade model 572 Fieldmaster slide action rimfire rifle which does NOT use the cartridge ramp and is in very good condition with light wear. This early variation forend hanger has a raised shelf before the threads which the late variation hanger does not have.  (file photo)
