This Remington manufactured early variation barreled receiver is for the model 34 bolt action rimfire rifle which uses the early variation outer magazine tube (having the threads) and is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of thinning original blue finish with a brown patina and possibly having some specks of surface rust and light wear. The receiver is the only part on the model 34 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
