This Remington manufactured late variation cocking head is for the later model 41 bolt action rimfire rifle with the late variation bolt assembly and is in very good condition with light wear. The late variation cocking head has two flat spots on the forward most section that are not present on the early variation cocking head. These two flat spots are to allow the two small pins at the rear section of the bolt body which do not exist on the early variation bolt assemblies.  (file photo)
