This Remington manufactured red, green and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 LR ammunition with nickel cases and is in good condition with light to moderate wear. The left end flap has a 1/2" split in the bottom hinge and the right end flap has a crease in the top portion (through the range warning). The white portions of the box have turned tan with age. This box displays the semi circle thumb cut. The bottom of the box is factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "HI-16" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is the Huegel # REM-14 LR-1(a) variation. This box displays the large, semi circle thumb cut and nickel casings.
