This Remington manufactured red, green and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear. The white portions of the box have turned tan with age. An 11/16" tear in is present in the top, front edge of the box and a 5/16" split in the top, back edge. The ends of the cardboard ammo tray have come unsealed. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "HI-16" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-14 LR-1(e) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the half diamond thumb cut. This box uses brass casings.
