This Remington manufactured red, green, and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 Short ammunition with nickel cases and is in good condition with moderate wear and a wrinkle. A 1/4" piece of the colorful layer of paper has come loose on the back panel creating a flap. The white portions of the box have turned tan with age. This box displays the large, semi circle thumb cut. The bottom of the box is factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "HI-16" headstamp and have a light tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-14 S-1(c) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the large, semi circle thumb cut. This box uses nickel casings.
