This Remington manufactured red, green, and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 Short ammunition with nickel cases and hollow point bullets and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear. A small portion of the colorful layer of paper is missing from the left end flap where the word "Remington" is located and the white portions of the box have turned tan with age. This box displays the large, semi circle thumb cut. The bottom of the box is factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "HI-16" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-14 S-2(b) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the large, semi circle thumb cut. This box uses nickel casings.
