This Remington manufactured green and yellow cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of high velocity 27 grain 22 Short ammunition with brass cases and brass washed, hollow point bullets and is in good condition with light wear and a crease in the left end flap. The front panel displays the address "Remington Arms Company, Inc., / Bridgeport, Conn. 06602" and a small DuPont logo. The 1120 fps and 904 fps velocities are listed on the bottom of the box. The end flap warning reads "Range – 1¼ Miles / Be Careful!". The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp and have a tarnish and a few spots of verdigris present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1974 and was produced until circa 1981.

Note: This box is the Huegel # REM-19 S-4.5 variation. This box displays the 1120 fps and 904 fps velocities on the bottom panel and the 1¼ mile range warning on the end flaps.
