This Remington manufactured green, red and off-white cardboard box with the dog bone design contains 35 of the original 50 rounds of Kleanbore Hi-Speed Lubricated 22 Long ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear and yellowing. The front panel displays six lines of information including the following words: "THESE CARTRIDGES ARE POSITIVELY / NON-CORROSIVE". The back panel displays eight lines of information divided into two paragraphs. The red ball logo with REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. underneath is printed on the bottom of the box as well as the patent number 1,443,328. A factory rubber stamped set of numbers/letters are present on the bottom panel. The end flap warning reads "DANGEROUS / WITHIN 1 MILE" and the inside of the flaps display ten lines of red printing running horizontally. The last line reads "other than KLEANBORE". A semi-circle thumb cut is present on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp and have a light tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1931 and was produced until circa 1936.

Note: This box is the Huegel # REM-7.4 L-1(b) variation. This box displays the "AA" bottom, # 7 & 9 end flap, and "R16L" product code. Due to this being a Hi-Speed box, the front panel is similar to Huegel's "I" front, but has an additional line of information. The back of the box is similar to Huegel's "V" panel. The difference observed is that the back of this box does not have any black lines across it. The dogbone logo contains "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.".
