This Remington manufactured green, red and off-white cardboard box with the dog bone design contains all 50 rounds of Kleanbore Hi-Speed 22 LR shot with brass cases and is in good condition at best with moderate wear and dirt stains. A small piece of the colorful layer of paper is missing from the bottom panel, likely due to the removal of a price sticker. The off-white portions of the box have turned a tan / brown with age. "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." is NOT printed inside the dogbone logo. The product code "R24H" is printed in the lower right corner of the top panel. The front panel displays six lines of information. The back panel displays nine lines of information. Twelve lines of information divided into four paragraphs are printed on the bottom panel. Two factory rubber stamped sets of numbers/letters are very faintly present on the bottom. There is NO printing on the top or inside of the end flaps. A semi-circle thumb cut is present on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1931 and was produced until circa 1936.

Note: This box is the Huegel # REM-7.4 LR-4(c) variation. This box displays the "E" bottom, # 0 end flap, and "R24H" product code. The front panel is similar to Huegel's "IV" panel. The difference observed is that the first line states ".22 LONG RIFLE Hi-Speed SHOT". The back panel does not match any of Huegel's examples. The dogbone logo does NOT contain "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.".
