This Remington UMC manufactured buff / gray cardboard box with the large red ball logo contains 37 of the original 50 rounds of Bevel Crimped 22 Short blank cartridges with brass cases and yellow / brown wads and is in very good condition with light shelf wear, dirt smudging, a crease in the bottom end flap, and a 3/8" split in the bottom, left edge. "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." appears to be printed underneath the red ball logo. "INCORPORATED" is printed underneath the company name "THE REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE COMPANY" on the top panel. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp and have a few specks of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1917 and was produced until 1924.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-3 SB-1(b) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays brass casings, which we feel are a few years newer than they should be for the age of this box.
