This Remington manufactured 22 1/2" long octagon barrel is for the No. 4 single shot rolling block rifle in 32 rimfire caliber with a solid frame (non-takedown variation) and is in good condition exhibiting a dark brownish gray patina with a few specks of older rust. The bore is dark and likely has some specks of pitting present. The barrel is simply marked "Remington Arms Co. Ilion, NY".  (file photo)
