This Remington manufactured dark green, red and white cardboard box contains 48 of the original 50 rounds of 22 Short blank cartridges with brass cases and buff / tan wads and is in very good condition with light to moderate wear and a few small tears in the top panel. Two 1/2" splits are present on the hinges of the left end flap. A semi-circle thumb cut is present on the left side of the top panel. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until circa 1962.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-12 S-1(a) variation. The difference observed is that the end flaps are on the left and right sides of the box and hinge at the bottom. This box displays a semi-circle thumb cut on the left end.
