This Remington manufactured intermediate variation bolt assembly is for the model 581 bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition with light wear. The intermediate variation bolt assembly has the bolt head with the flat face and the bolt head does swivel like the early variation lacking the locking notch like the late variation. (file photo)
