This Remington Arms Company Inc. manufactured red cardboard box contains 30 of the original 50 rounds of Lesmok 22 Short ammunition with copper casings and is in about good condition with light wear. The left end flap is missing, a 1/2" split is present on the top, left, front edge of the box, a 1/4" tear is present on the top, left, back edge of the box, and the right end flap hinge displays a 1/4" split. The top panel displays the product code "53-S", the company details "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. / SUCCESSOR TO / THE REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE COMPANY INC.", and a thumb cut on the right end. A perforated line runs around the middle of the box. The copper casings display the "U-3" headstamp and have a light coating of tarnish present. The lubrication on the bullets has solidified and turned white with age.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1920 and was produced until 1926.
