This Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. manufactured factory sealed, two piece, split top, buff cardboard box with green and red labels contains all 50 rounds of Smokeless 45 grain 22 Winchester Automatic ammunition and is in very good condition with light to moderate wear and dirt smudging. The side sealing band, though intact, has become loose allowing for its removal so as to open the box. The top label displays the Remington UMC red ball logo without the word Incorporated underneath. A ten line guarantee is printed on the bottom label. The front side of the band displays a four line quality statement. Due to the arrangement of the text, the 3rd line ends with the word "QUALITY". The back side of the band states "MODEL 1903." and both ends display "TRADE (red ball logo) MARK". The copper casings display the "U-3" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1914 and was produced until 1922.
