This Remington manufactured red, green, and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 Short ammunition with brass cases and is in very good condition with light wear. Some small pieces of the colorful layer of paper are missing from the top, back edge of the box and the white portions of the box have turned tan with age. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut and both end flaps display the nickel shortage note on the inside. The brass casings display the "HI-16" headstamp and have a few scattered specks of tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is the Huegel # REM-14 S-1(a) variation. This box uses brass casings.
