This Remington manufactured red, green, and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Hi-Speed Kleanbore 22 Short ammunition with nickel cases and hollow point bullets and is in near excellent condition with light wear and a 1/4" split in the top, front edge. The white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age and a previous owner has written "oct / 1967" in blue ink on the top panel. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut. The bottom of the box is factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "HI-16" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until around 1960.

Note: This box is the Huegel # REM-14 S-2(b) variation. This box uses nickel casings.
