This Federal Cartridge Corporation / Sears, Roebuck & Co. manufactured red, white and black cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of high velocity 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and copper-plated bullets and is in very good condition with light wear and dirt smudging. Both ends of the cardboard ammo tray have become unsealed. The side panels state "SOLD BY SEARS, ROEBUCK & CO., CHICAGO, ILLINOIS · MADE IN U.S.A." across the bottom edge. The product code 6342 is printed on both end flaps. This box uses a cardboard ammo tray. The brass casings display the "F-8" headstamp. The brass casings have a tarnish present and the bullets show light oxidation.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1966 and was produced with the 4 digit product code until 1968 when it was replaced with a 5 digit product code.
