This Ruger manufactured fifth variation barreled receiver is for the model 44 semi-auto carbine in 44 Magnum caliber which uses the third variation trigger guard assembly (lacking the upper forward semi-circular lip). The barrel is 18 1/2" long, has the warning regarding an instruction manual and has a bright, excellent bore. This barreled receiver is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear. Receivers are the only part on the model 44 carbine that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
