This Ruger manufactured fourth variation 18 1/2" long barrel with the warning regarding an instruction manual is for the model 44 semi-auto carbine in 44 Magnum caliber and is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear and possible a few specks of surface rust. The bore is bright and rates excellent.  (file photo)

Markings: This barrel has the fourth variation markings which were offered after the company became incorprated: "Before Using Gun - Read Warnings in Instruction Manual Available Free From / Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. Southport, Conn. U.S.A." on the top.
