This Ruger manufactured second variation 5 1/2" long barrel with the serrated front sight blade is for the old model 3 screw Single Six single action revolver with the fixed style rear sight and is in good condition retaining perhaps 40% original blue finish located mostly in the protected areas with the balance exhibiting a grayish brown patina. The bore is bright and rates excellent.  (file photo)
