This Ruger manufactured third variation receiver is for the later model 44 semi-auto carbine in 44 Magnum caliber which uses the third variation trigger guard assembly (featuring the button style cartridge stop). This receiver is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear. Receivers are the only part on the model 44 carbine that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
