This Rheinisch Westfalischen Sprengstoff (R.W.S.) manufactured gold, red, black and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of R25 SINOXID primed 22 Short ammunition for rapid fire pistols with nickel cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light shelf wear and a 1/2" tear in the top panel. The child warning is printed on the left end flap and the product code "2.13427.6" is displayed on the right end flap. This box displays the center die-cut on the end flaps. The nickel casings display the "R-8" headstamp and have specks of light tarnish present. Made in Germany.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in the 1970's and was produced for many years.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # RWS-7 S-2 variation. The difference observed is that the product code is in a different format. It reads "2.13427.6". This box displays the center die-cut on the end flaps.
