This Lapua manufactured blue, red and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Indoor 22 Short ammunition with nickel cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear and ink smudging due to rubbing against another box of the same ammunition. This box displays the scorecard on the bottom along with three lines of factory rubber stamped letters and numbers. This box uses the cardboard ammo tray which may have collapsed on one side and may have foxing present. The nickel casings display the "L-2" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: Unknown. It is assumed that this style box was produced during the 1960's.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # L-2 S-3(a) variation. The difference observed is that the casings in this box are nickel. This box displays the scorecard on the bottom and the nickel casings display the "L-2" headstamp.
