This Western Cartridge Co. manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-X wax coated 22 LR ammunition with nickel cases and copper washed bullets and is in very good condition with light wear and dirt smudges. The product code "K1225R" is printed in the lower right corner of the front panel. The bottom of the box displays "Made in U.S.A." in the upper right corner, six patent numbers, and the address line reading "WESTERN CARTRIDGE CO., East Alton, Ill., U.S.A.". This box displays thumb cuts on both ends of the box and the end flaps read "CAUTION! / Dangerous within / 1 Mile". The nickel casings display the "SU-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was produced in 1942.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-6D LR-9(c) variation. The differences observed are that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black and does not match all of the printing or alignment of the words on Huegel's sample "B" bottom photo.
