This Marlin manufactured first variation charging handle is for the early Glenfield model 60 semi-auto rimfire rifle without the hold open device and is in very good condition with light wear. (file photo)

Observations: The first variation charging handle does not have the serrated lines on the top side nor does it have the hold open stud that all of the later variations have.
