This Marlin manufactured second variation barreled receiver assembly is for the Glenfield model 25 bolt action rimfire rifle which uses the second variation band style ramped front sight and early variation extractor without the wing. This assembly consists of the first variation receiver without the extractor groove along the inside left portion of the reciever, the trigger stud, second variation barrel, barrel retaining pin and the cartridge guide spring. The overall condition is very good retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear and maybe some minor surface rust specks. The receiver is the only part on the Glenfield model 25 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
