This Marlin manufactured fifth variation barreled receiver assembly is for the Glenfield model 25 bolt action rimfire rifle which uses the third variation front sight and late variation extractor with the wing. This assembly consists of the third variation receiver with the extractor groove along the inside left portion of the reciever, the trigger stud, third variation barrel, barrel retaining pin and the cartridge guide spring. The overall condition is very good retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear and maybe some minor surface rust specks. This barrel has a single threaded hole near the muzzle for mounting the third variation front sight. The receiver is the only part on the Glenfield model 25 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
