This Marlin manufactured second variation receiver and barrel assembly is for the Glenfield model 20 bolt action rimfire rifle and consists of the early variation barrel designed for the band type front sight, cartridge guide, late variation receiver having the full length extractor groove and the trigger stud. The overall condition is very good retaining over 95% original blue finish with light wear. There may be some small specks of older surface rust present. The receiver is the only part on the Glenfield model 20 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
