Here is a very fine Colt model 1908 Hammerless semi-auto vest pocket pistol in 25 ACP caliber with a 2" barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This early pistol has serial #191805 and was manufactured in 1919. The metal surfaces retain 99% original bright nickel finish. The checkered hard rubber grips rate excellent. Mechanically, this pistol functions perfectly. Included with this pistol is one original six round magazine and a factory letter confirming the configuration of this pistol and informing us that it was one of 25 firearms in a May 14, 1919 shipment to Shapleigh Hardware of St. Louis, Missouri. This pistol has been in my consignors personal collection since June of 1993. A fine example of a nickel finished Colt 1908 Vest Pocket produced over 95 years ago and cared for very well over the years.  {C&R}
