This Lyman No. 57 side receiver peep sight was manufactured between 1951 and 1974 and features the coin slotted Stayset knobs and steel base marked with a "C" indicating that it is for the U.S. M-1 Carbine. This peep sight is in excellent condition and includes the original cardboard box and both mounting screws. (file photo)
