This Winchester-Western Division manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-X long range extra clean wax coated 22 Short ammunition with brass cases and copper washed bullets and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The product code "SX22S" is printed on both end flaps. "TRADE MARK" is printed in white ink underneath "Western" on the top of the box. The bottom of the box displays the ownership and address lines "WINCHESTER-WESTERN DIVISION / OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION / NEW HAVEN, CONN., AND EAST ALTON, ILL., U.S.A.  MADE IN U.S.A.". The end flap warning reads "RANGE / 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL". The brass casings display the "SU-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1956 and was produced until 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-10 S-1(b) variation. The differences observed are that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black, the word "Western" in the second line of printing on the bottom of the box is not printed in all capital letters, and the bottom of the box has slightly different wording than the one in Huegel's sample photo due to this being a 22 Short box. This box displays brass casings.

This box is S-37 in Huegel's Super-X Checklist.
