This Winchester-Western Division manufactured yellow, red, white and blue cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-Match Mark III 40 grain 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The bottom of the box displays the company name “WINCHESTER-WESTERN DIVISION” as well as the line “OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION” along the bottom. The tops of the end flaps are white and the warning reads “RANGE 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL”. The brass casings display the “2-1” headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1962 and was produced until circa 1975.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-51.3 LR-3(a) variation. The differences observed are that there is no black printing on this box and there are no stripes on this box running from one pannel edge to another. This box displays the "Q" style bottom and the # 5 style end flap warning.
