This Winchester-Western Division manufactured white, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Wildcat 22 40 grain high velocity 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in very good condition with light wear and a small brown stain. The 1971 style warning, which is NOT enclosed in a rectangle, is printed along the bottom edge of the top panel. The brass casings display the "W-3" headstamp and the bullets are coated in oxidation.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1971 and was produced until 1978.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WW-1 LR-3(a) variation. The difference observed is that the printing on this box is in blue ink as opposed to black. This box displays 2 small stripes that run from the front panel edge to the bottom edge of the box. These stripes are either red, blue, or a combination of red and blue and may be located anywhere along the bottom edge of the front panel.
