This Winchester-Western Division manufactured white, red and blue cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-X extra power 29 grain 22 Long ammunition with brass cases and copper washed bullets and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear. A few small pieces of the colorful layer of paper are missing on the edges of the right end flap. This appears to be due to wear. The 1978 style warning is printed along the bottom edge of the top of the box and is surrounded by a rectangle. The brass casings display the "SU-1" headstamp and a few of them have a light tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1978 and was produced until 1980.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # L-1 variation. The differences observed are the printing on this box is in blue ink instead of black and this box displays 2 small blue stripes that run from the top panel edge to the front panel edge of the box. The end flaps do not match the ones in Huegel's photos.
