This Winchester-Western Division manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-X extra clean wax coated 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and copper washed bullets and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear and a wrinkle in the left end flap. The product code "SX22LR" is printed on both end flaps. The bottom of the box displays the company name "WINCHESTER-WESTERN DIVISION / OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION". This box displays thumb cuts on both ends of the box and the end flaps read "RANGE / 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL". The brass casings display the "SU-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1956 and was produced until 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-10 LR-1 variation. The differences observed are that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black and the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's sample photo. The differences on the bottom of the box are "Western" is not printed in caps on the 2nd line and this box is LR instead of Long.
