This Winchester-Western Division manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-X extra clean wax coated 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and copper washed, hollow point bullets and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The product code "SX22LRH" is printed on both end flaps. The bottom of the box displays the printing "WINCHESTER-WESTERN DIVISION / OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION / NEW HAVEN, CONN., AND EAST ALTON, ILL., U.S.A. MADE IN U.S.A.". This box displays thumb cuts on both ends of the box and the end flaps read "RANGE / 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL". The brass casings display the "SU-1" headstamp.
Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1956 and was produced until 1960.
Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-10 LR-2 variation. The differences observed are that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black and the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's sample photo due to slightly different wording because this is a Long Rifle Hollow Point box.
