This Montgomery Ward's manufactured barreled receiver with 23" barrel is for the model 04M 390B semi-auto rimfire rifle which has the screw hole for the S101 front sight and is in good condition with a few specks of surface rust. The receiver is the only part on the model 04M 390B rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photo)
