This Mossberg manufactured barreled receiver is for the model 183D-D bolt action shotgun in 410 bore and is in very good condition retaining a mixture of thinning original blue finish with a brown patina having honest wear and possibly some specks of surface rust staining. Barreled receivers must be sent to a federally licensed firearms dealer or pawn shop and do not qualify as a C&R based upon BATFE's guidelines. (file photos)
