This Marlin manufactured late variation barreled receiver assembly is for the model 780 bolt action rimfire rifle and consists of the late variation barrel designed for the later ramp style front sight (which mounts using two straight slot screws), barrel retaining pin, cartridge guide, receiver having the full length extractor groove and the trigger stud. The overall condition is very good retaining over 95% original blue finish with light wear and a few specks of rust. This is the only part on the model 780 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be sent and transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
