This Marlin manufactured first variation receiver with trigger stud is for the model 781 bolt action rimfire rifle and features the earlier style round grooved top for scope mounting. The overall condition is very good to near excellent with light wear. This is the only part on the model 781 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
