This Marlin manufactured first variation barreled receiver is for the earlier model 39-A lever action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish with four threaded holes added for scope mounting and light wear. The four holes consist of two on the top of the receiver and two on the top rear section of the barrel. The receiver is the only part on the model 39-A rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photos)
