This Marlin manufactured barreled receiver is for the model 39 lever action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish on the barrel and most of its original case colors on the receiver with light wear. A previous owner had seven threaded holes added to this firearm for possible scope mounting which include five on the top flat of the barrel, one on the top flat of the receiver and one on the tang. The receiver is the only part on the model 39 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photos)
