This Marlin manufactured fourth variation barreled receiver is for the model 990 semi-auto rimfire rifle and is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear. The fourth variation receiver has the serrated lines on the scope mounting rib, the hold open notch on the inner left side wall and the post-June 1975 barrel which has two threaded holes for the screw mounted style ramp front sight and a dovetail on the underside for a magazine tube band. The barrel may have some spots with rust specks.  The receiver is the only part on the model 990 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photos)
