This Marlin manufactured barreled receiver assembly is for the model 89C semi auto rimfire rifle. This assembly consists of the receiver, cartridge guide spring, 24" long barrel, and the barrel retaining pin. The overall condition is very good retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear and maybe some minor surface rust specks. This barrel has two threaded holes near the muzzle for mounting the front sight. This barreled reciever is approx. 31 1/8" long and is grooved on top in order to accept a scope mount.  The receiver is the only part on the model 89C rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
