This Savage manufactured late variation smooth steel butt plate with the circular "SVG" logo and slight inward curve at the toe is for the late Sporter model 23A bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with spots of rust and pin prick pitting.
