This Savage manufactured serrated steel butt plate with a slight cresent curvature and a circular "SVG" logo at the toe is for the model 40 Super Sporter bolt action centerfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with scattered specks of surface rust and honest wear.
