This Savage manufactured late variation crescent steel butt plate with the circular logo is for the model 1903 slide action rimfire rifle with the butt stock which has the crescent shape for this style butt plate. This steel butt plate is in good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with scattered specks of rust present. (file photo)
