This Winchester manufactured receiver is for the model 1894 lever action solid frame rifle or carbine in 32-40 Win caliber. This receiver sub-assembly consists of the receiver, lower tang and both cartridge guides for the 32-40 Win cartridge and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina overall. This is the only part on the model 1894 rifle or carbine that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.
